According to Ishmael the only way to save the world is to revert back to leavers and no more killing off competition no more stocking excess food. We would have to live like native Americans and take what we need and when we kill deer we use every part of it, like its hide for clothes its organs for string and its meat for food.
In my opinion the world doesn't need saving the world can adapt and when the worlds adapts we can too so we should just live the way were living and when we run out of gas or something then we just switch to another source of energy.

If the world could actually adapt, maybe I would agree, but if it can't, then we are all doomed.
I certainly respect your opinion; however, I must agree with Jonathon. There is no guarantee that the word can adapt. Also, I don't see anything wrong with sound advice to minimize consumption and practice a few key lifestyle changes that could make potentially large impacts for the better...
